Black History Month

February is also known as Black History Month or African American Month in the U.S. It is an annual celebration of the achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of blacks in U.S. history.
One of the most important figures of African American History is Dr Martin Luther King Jr, a famous Civil Rights leader, pastor, and humanitarian. Martin Luther King is best known for his peaceful, nonviolent protests and speeches calling for change.
